Business Development Representative Peopleclick
Perform new business lead generation and qualification for the Workforce Compliance and Diversity (WCAD) field sales organization. Work with the sales team to help identify target accounts, handle initial inquiries, qualify prospects, assist with the early stages of the sale cycle, and participate in marketing events and other sales processes. The daily tasks of a Business Development Representative will include performing Salesforce.com updates, sending information and creating appointments with prospective and current customers. This position is located in the Irving, TX office.
? Contact by phone or email to qualify prospects and generate sales leads
? Coordinate with sales and marketing departments to ensure that lead generation is in alignment with sales objectives
? Follow up from a seminar or from an invitation to a marketing event
? Schedule in-house demos or appointments with sales reps for prospects unable to attend events
? Perform record keeping activities in a database that includes pertinent information about organizations, systems used, and dialogue from client conversations
? Send out literature, invitations and confirmations to prospects
? Recent graduate with BS/BA in Business, or relevant degree
?Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills required
? Good organizational, time management and project management skills
? Effective and presentation skills
