The successful candidate must possess an unbelievably strong work ethic, intelligence, positive attitude, persistence, tenacity, desire to win EVERY day, and be coachable. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling online demos with Heads of Marketing and Sales at new business prospects. The representative will be telephone based.
The successful candidate will:
Work closely with each Account Executive to properly identify the right prospects to pursue, obtain other like firms we currently support in their vertical market, and how we are helping the firms we work with in this space get ROI.
Build-out the right targets to pursue at this new prospect.
Open-up sales cycles at new prospects building pipeline for Account Executives.
Identify and qualify opportunities for the ZoomInfo family of products.
Be responsible for the top of the sales funnel and moving prospects to a qualified Lead status.
This position reports to the Director, Sales & Recruiting Client Group. This position has a potential career path to an Account Manager or Account Executive role. The corporate culture is one in which intelligent, energetic, driven, positive, and vibrant individuals thrive.
Additional Responsibilities
Consistently achieving lead and demo quota through proactive prospecting.
Develop qualified leads, manage a lead pipeline.
Manage all facets of the lead qualification process to help generate new opportunities.
Cultivating new qualified leads through cold calls (outbound).
Follow up on all inbound leads in a timely fashion, same day.
Use Salesforce.com CRM to manage all leads, update daily.
Work in harmony with Marketing to build and execute programs.
Team with marketing to follow up on all lead generation events.
Maintain a daily call volume of 60 dials and a phone time of over 2.5 hours.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Make doing business with ZoomInfo easy and pleasant.
Requirements
Minimum three years of sales or telemarketing experience, exceeding quotas selling software over the telephone.
Must understand how to deliver a compelling message to a business executive and leverage interest they create into an opportunity.
Strong ability to actively listen and determine customers needs.
Selling technology as an enabler and differentiator to within their current business.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, discipline, attention to detail, high energy and a can do attitude, balance multiple tasks.
Ability to understand technology and communicate its business value to prospects.
Highly motivated, competitive, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency.
Must have a positive attitude, unbelievable work ethic, hungry to learn and coachable.
Qualifications/ Education
BS/BA degree
Sales and lead development training is recommended.
