Application Security, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to join the sales team. As a Business Development Representative, you will use your enthusiastic, assertive personality and proven time management skills to generate high volume outbound telephone calls to North American organizations of all sizes. The goal is to generate Qualified Sales Leads (QSLs) for the Territory Account team (Account Executives & Regional Sales Manager) and face-to-face appointments.
Qualify marketing leads according to AppSecInc?s qualified lead standards with hand off to AE?s & RSM?s.
Clearly communicate AppSecInc?s value proposition over the phone by thoroughly understanding the product line, business requirements and solutions benefits.
Initiate contact with suspects and prospects, creating initial interest and positioning Application Security Inc?s software offerings.
Execute various calling campaigns by leveraging lead sources derived by field sales, marketing programs, trade shows, business partners, etc.
Present key selling points, features and benefits while remaining focused on the prospect?s needs and suspect contact information, project identification and descriptions, etc.
Conduct thorough lead/prospect qualification including the identification of projects, timelines, business benefits, technical fit, key contacts and budgets.
Meticulously record activities with suspects and prospects, including prospect and suspect contact information, project identification and descriptions, etc.
Build credibility and strong working relationships with decision makers who may need our solutions in the future.
Internet savvy and experience with Word and Excel a must.
Computer and typing skills essential, familiarity with a CRM system and Salesforce.com, highly desirable.
Experience working within an enterprise software sales organization highly desirable.
A Bachelor's degree.
Skilled and tenacious at calling and reaching elusive IT and Business executives.
Ability to effectively overcome business objections of prospective customers.
Demonstrate persistence, ability to overcome obstacles and desire to improve skills and achieve assigned goals.
Articulate, friendly, optimistic and success-driven.
Expert communication skills; including listening, verbal and written communication skills.
