As a Business Development Representative you will build and develop client relationships within a defined geographic territory to promote BeyondTrust?s product portfolio. We will support the BDR by providing guidance from experienced sales professionals, hands on training, and company sponsored training.
? Align with the sales team to achieve defined overall team goals
? Develop leads through research, tradeshows, marketing campaigns, etc.
? Maintain high call/activity volume on a daily basis
? Identify, qualify and nurture new opportunities
? Through conversation recognize prospects/customer critical business challenges
? Use open-ended questions and conversation so prospect can define product requirements
? Present and articulate product features and benefits
? Work with the Marketing department to devise and communicate programs to help focus accounts hit their goals
? Support marketing campaigns to help optimize and create revenues
? Follow consistent work flow to manage leads from initial contact to sales rep hand-off
? Educate the market, prospects and customer knowledge of BeyondTrust products
? Maintain database of all sales and prospecting activities.
? Stay up to date with industry knowledge, trends and market developments.
? Develop strong working relationships with all BeyondTrust sales reps
? Foster, promotes and strengthens relationships with focus list customers
DESIRED SKILL SET
? Bachelor?s Degree and a minimum one year of related sales experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
? Enjoy Interacting with people all day (by phone and email)
? Experience in sales, preferably in an inside sales environment within technology
? Ability to learn, understand and articulate BeyondTrust product solutions and features
? Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
? Ability to understand customer?s industry and core business processes
? Familiarity with Salesforce (or similar CRM system) preferred
? Highly motivated and results driven
? Consistently persistent and positive
? Highly organized with successful time management skills
? Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel & Power Point skills
? Some travel required
