We are seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our Sales and Business Development team. This person should be a results-driven individual who is passionate about sales, hunting for new business, developing relationships, and looking for an environment that is full of opportunity.
Prospectiv specializes in helping advertisers of all types build profitable relationships with consumers through the execution of performance based online advertising solutions. You will be responsible for business development with both advertising agencies and direct clients in the Consumer Packaged Goods vertical.
This individual will be charged with identifying revenue-generating opportunities, getting in touch with high-level decision makers, selling these companies on our products, structuring deals, as well as negotiating and closing agreements. This job requires a passion for consistent, thorough prospecting and developing new business, as well as maintaining relationships and generating renewals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high-level direct client contact with advertising agencies and direct advertisers
Cultivate relationships at the highest levels of top agencies, large on-line advertisers and Fortune 1000 companies
Supervise proper delivery of advertising campaigns in accordance with goals and objectives of the client
Drive revenue through long-term, high dollar contracts
Consult with clients on their marketing needs and creatively design solution packages
Provide feedback to the rest of the organization on how to better satisfy client needs
Generate a high volume of sales-related activity; including cold calling, meetings, presentations and RFP?s
Strong knowledge of the online advertising space, lead generation a plus
Excellent track record in developing relationships with advertising agencies and/or direct advertisers
Must possess superb written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop leads through cold calling and networking
Must have excellent closing & presentation skills
Ability to develop custom presentations and responses to RFPs
Proven track record of success in online media sales
Must be highly motivated and a team player
Excels in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Proficient in MS Office and CRM software such as Salesforce.com
Minimum 3 years of experience selling Internet, partnerships, direct marketing or promotional advertising
Experience in the interactive advertising/digital media industry desired
