About the Job:
Are you a recent grad (2 years or less) from a top tier institution, looking to develop your business skills at one of the fastest growing technology companies in the Valley? We are looking for high achievers who embody excellent business judgment, leadership, and technical saaviness to join our college hire business development program. As a business development representative - you will use data-driven methodologies to create qualified leads for the business, working closely with enterprise sales, corporate sales, and partner business development teams. After 18 months, successfull business development associates will have an opportunity to graduate into more senior roles across the sales, marketing, and business development organizations.
Qualify and create sales leads through a number of channels: registrations, outbound marketing campaigns, webinars, tradeshows.
Track communications with customers and prospects in Salesforce.com.
Answer customer?s basic product questions, with a strong emphasis on delighting the customer.
Capture lead metrics and customer trends, and present periodic proposals to management on ways to improve sales process.
Attend local tech events and conferences, evangelizing Twilio and cementing our reputation as a friendly and knowledgeable part of the startup community.
You are analytical and detail oriented. You can collect data and quickly make decisions about next steps in the sales process. You are comfortable making data-driven decisions.
You are an intelligent and ambitious go-getter, and you?re excited to develop your technology business development and sales skills working with a fast growing company with real traction in the marketplace.
You are a tech-savvy "people" person who learns fast and thinks on your feet. You love working with real customers: listening to them and solving problems.

You have a bachelor?s degree from a top tier university or equivalent experience.

Leadership experience of some variety, such as starting a business or leading a team or club.
