Under general supervision provides lead generation and lead qualification to internal clients by identifying, initiating and nurturing potential business relationships, including cold calling. Handles inbound inquiries. Achieves specified program and goals through the initiation of telephone and/or email communication with prospects. Maintains detailed communication documentation through utilization of company?s CRM systems. Ensures reports are maintained in a timely and accurate manner. The territory to prospect in is the US, West.
University degree is a plus
Minimum 2 years of experience in an outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience
Must have basic PC proficiency using computer applications such as MS Outlook, MS Office.
CRM knowledge preferred ? SalesForce.com a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Absolutely fluent English is mandatory
Comfortable initiating conversations
Must have a strong customer focus
Tenacious (Determined) and target focused
Ability to be accountable and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to the following:
Business Development/ Lead Generation
Provides lead generation and lead qualification to internal clients.
Identifies and develops relationships with decision makers and influential individuals who can initiate new business opportunities for SafeNet, Inc.
Initiates telephone and/or email communication with prospects ? extensive cold calling required
Cultivates initiated relationships through telephone and email communications
Qualifies inbound callers to determine the opportunity across any of the SafeNet product sets
Works in out-bound calling specific area and calls on prospects following on specific marketing activities
Researches, generates and manages own cold calling lists
Maintains detailed communication documentation through database management functions. Updates data fields based on prospect content and SafeNet qualifiers
Qualifies all inquiries generated through a variety of marketing tactics including: direct mail, e-marketing, tradeshows, events, webinars, website inquiries, advertising, PR and any source of inquiries
Documents prospect information in the SafeNet, Inc. CRM system after each prospect contact capturing information critical to the client?s sale leads criteria
Knows the enemy ? be able to report back with business intelligence information as well as product feedback following calls
Regularly attends team meetings to provide status updates, obtain answers to clarifying questions and share obstacles, roadblocks, and successes
