More than 2,000 customers worldwide enjoy greater visibility and control over different areas of the telecom process with the Emptoris Rivermine Solution. It effectively automates the various aspects of the telecom lifecycle which includes the procurement and order and inventory management, processing of invoice and auditing, managing mobile expenses, dispute management and analytics.
In this strategic inside sales role you will be an integral member of our inside sales team who will work with Account Executives in the field. The team targets a defined territory of Global 2000 accounts. As our Inside Sales Representative, you will be primarily responsible for developing business for the Emptoris Rivermine Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solution in North America. This will include lead generation activities, cold calling, target account profiling, qualifying marketing generated leads, and early stage pipeline opportunity management. You may also be asked to attend trade shows and conferences, working the booth and having meetings with attendees. Travel is less than 20% of time.
This is a fast paced and demanding environment and only a seasoned inside sales professional with strong enterprise software sales experience and a consistent track record of exceeding team revenue and pipeline generation goals will be considered for this role.
Primary Responsibilities:
? Meet all TEM quarterly and annual quota objectives;
? Profile and develop incremental sales opportunities with Global 2000 companies within your assigned sales territory via Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), target account cold calling and emailing campaigns;
? Identify, develop, and manage a growing sales pipeline of qualified opportunities;
? Develop a clear and concise understanding of prospects' business and technical requirements via the phone and use this information to help position Emptoris Rivermine software and services offering;
? Identify and penetrate new market opportunities by calling on senior-level executives starting at the Director level or above;
? Maintain accurate and up-to-date account and opportunity information across your prospect base via the Emptoris BDR process in Salesforce.com;
? Provide accurate sales pipeline metrics based upon realistic opportunity assessments and Emptoris SQL definition document guidelines;
? Work with your field sales team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction within your assigned territory and
? client base;
? Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the Emptoris Rivermine Solution;
? Develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships;
? Represent Emptoris at trade shows and conferences when needed. Roughly once or twice a year.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
? Experience selling telecom expense related technologies or solutions, supply chain management, procurement software, spend analysis, sourcing software, or data integration solutions;
? Minimum 5-7 years experience developing enterprise software solution opportunities at Global 2000 accounts;
? Excellent opportunity, time, and overall territory management skills;
? Ability and willingness to make 50-70 dials per day;
? Professional written and verbal communication skills;
? Strong listening skills;
? Strong probing, qualification, and opportunity development skills at a strategic and tactical level;
? Consistent track record of building a territory, generating leads, and cold calling Director and above;
? Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear concise value proposition and return on investment value statement;
? Consistent track record meeting and exceeding quotas;
? ??Bachelor's degree is required.
