POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Development Research Assistant will have the responsibility of creating and maintaining the Corporate Wellness matrix, the Business Development matrix, along with assisting with reporting for Business Development, and supporting overall company corporate wellness initiative.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Possesses a strong attention to detail and is extremely organized.
Has strong problem solving skills.
Possesses a highly analytical skill set
Understands the importance of data integrity.
Excellent computer skills.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel a plus.
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
Continually looks to improve his/her knowledge of the company, product, and service.
Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a high stress environment, under substantial time pressure.
Ability, on a consistent basis, to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to perform the General Duties and Responsibilities set forth above in a consistent and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a representative list of the general duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.
This position complies and maintains the Corporate Wellness matrix, and the Business Development matrix including, but not limited to:
o Research existing programs to document the specific features/options they offer
o Compile data on relevant opportunities, and identify employers that would align within MINDBODY?s Corporate wellness initiative as target prospects
o Create an educational database that will contribute to the success and sustainability of Business Development
o Research competing programs and identify weaknesses and gaps in their program offerings
This position assists with presenting the compiled data to various management levels within the company and can include
o Preparing implementation suggestions and strategies
o Assisting with the process to determine true scope and potential of the program
This position assists in establishing a timeline and projections for the program?s success that can include:
o Qualifying data to justify established timeline
o Continuously updating data and advise when current trends and other KPI?s are effective by significant changes in the marketplace
This position assists with identifying insurance partners that could participate in the program by:
o Compiling information on prospective insurance partners that would benefit from the program
o Becoming knowledgeable of various insurance companies and the state to state restrictions that apply within the same insurance company, and helping us determine best approach to overcome certain restrictions
This position assists with the Strategic Partner reporting including, but not limited to:
o Compiling data for technology partners and business partners
o Notifying Strategic Partner Manager of opportunities when research leads to corporations that MINDBODY would benefit from executing partnerships with
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard.?
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY:
Duties are preformed under limited supervision. Decision making authority is broad due to the scope of assignments. Changes in policies must be deferred to Direct Manager. No direct management responsibility.
