Job Description & Responsibilities:
WideOrbit is the leader in business management software for Media companies, providing innovative, proven solutions for managing broadcast and cable operations. Our software powers more than 4,000 stations and networks around the globe, managing more than 14 billion in annual advertising revenue. WideOrbit is a financially stable organization with more than 100 million in contract backlog and is backed by leading Venture Capital firms.
Our tremendous growth has created an exciting opportunity for a Business Development professional marketing WO Central. The successful experienced applicant will work with our Executive Management team to market WO Central to the advertising, broadcasting, and infomercial industries. Strong industry and sales management experience and the ability to target and close business with C-level relationships are required.
Here are the skills and qualifications we're looking for in a candidate:
- Experience working at a TV Station, Cable Network, Rep or Advertising Agency.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development or sales with expertise in media buying and targeting advertising companies.
- Software sales experience is a plus.
- Positive Entrepreneurial attitude is a must to be successful in this role.
- Ability to solicit new partnerships and close proposals with minimal direction.
Compensation
The compensation range is flexible and will depend upon the experience. Please feel free to submit salary requirements. This position will offer medical benefits and stock options.
