Business Development Solutions Consultant Courion

This position is focused on helping Courion drive new business by identifying, exploring and implementing technical integration with various partner products.

This role will also be responsible for exploring potential integration points with Courions current and potential partners, providing technical expertise in partner discussions, providing pre-sales technical and sales support to our strategic partners, and furthering Courion partner relationships. Interdepartmental cooperation will be required to resolve or coordinate the resolution of technical product problems and product enhancements.
Responsibilities

- Assist business development staff assess technical integration of Courion products with partner solutions
- Work with partners to explore technical feasibility in solution enhancements
- Create prototype solutions and professionally demonstrate integrations
- Assist partner staff in making sales presentations and conduct customer demos on technical aspects of Courion products
- Provide technical support to channel sales and business development staff
- Assist partners in creation of sales demonstrations using Courion products
- Present Courion solution architecture, design, and technical information to current and prospective partners

Requirements

- 5-10 years software experience in varied environments, preferably in a pre-sales, product management or partner/technical alliance group
- Experience in client-facing or customer engagement roles
- Demonstrable ability to integrate data from multiple sources (LDAP, SQL databases, etc)
- Strong database query experience in a relational database environment (SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase)
- Experience with scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, or Perl), Active Directory and XML/XSLT are all a plus
- Ability to quickly research, understand and utilize partner product APIs
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies very quickly and with minimal assistance
- Strong understanding of web technologies
- Superior written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives
- Travel of 30 + anticipated.
