Business Director - Healthcare (home-office) VFA

This is ?home-office? based role, ideally in Northern California to cover the western United States
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Director will act primarily in a ?hunting? capacity to develop relationships with new clientele in the US Healthcare market. The Business Director will identify, qualify and close new business opportunities with new clientele and further develop relationships with a small group of existing clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Position VFA to win sales opportunities by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies that are based on valid, customer-specific value propositions.
Manage the account planning and strategy process including the development, review, and management approval of goals, objectives, and strategies for assigned products and vertical markets.
Implement account penetration tactics to acquire new clients and deepen current relationships.
Working collaboratively with VFA staff throughout the company as well as clients in a consultative manner to position solutions that will meet the defined needs and requirements of the customer/prospect.
Evaluate new VFA solution offerings (Products, Resources and Expertise) on an ongoing basis and recommend as appropriate to supplement the customer?s/prospect?s initial investment in VFA.
Maintain an accurate, timely and documented pipeline of all opportunities, contacts and account history and provide appropriate communication of such to management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor?s degree plus 7+ years selling complex enterprise application software solutions (e.g., CAFM, CMS, or CAD, and ERP) into large healthcare organizations.
Proven experience developing and maintaining a sales account/territory plan.
Demonstrable skills qualifying prospects and matching company offerings with customer needs.
Good listening, consultative selling practices, exploratory information gathering techniques and analytical skills in a team-based customer engagement process.
Effective communications, presentation, demonstrations skills are essential.
Experience developing effective responses to RFPs
Must have a proven track record of consistently closing new business opportunities.
Must be an effective time manager and be willing and available to travel.
PC literacy ? including Internet, Windows, Outlook and contact management software
