POSITION OVERVIEW
The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for completing profit-driven analysis and providing recommendations on all aspects of the Apps business as necessary; especially those related to distribution. Specific duties include:
Ad-hoc queries using MSSQL Server and other RDBMS
Data manipulation and presentation in Excel
Tracking and analysis of Key Performance Indicators
Development and execution of new reports
Providing actionable recommendations to Apps team members
CANDIDATE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Practical experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, etc)
Basic understanding of SQL (select/where clauses, etc)
Ability to go beyond the numbers by gaining a deep understanding of the business and making actionable recommendations on how to improve it
Aptitude for analysis with an interest in marketing
Self-motivated to work independently
Working independently as well collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
1-2 years of analysis experience in relevant field preferred (online marketing/advertising)
Positive, goal-oriented attitude a must!
