Business Intelligence Analyst Tremor Video
Overview:The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the reporting, analysis and data mining of key operating metrics for a fast-growing leader in the online video advertising space, Tremor Video. The Business Intelligence Analyst will partner strategically with departments across the organization. Working closely with Sales, Network Development, Operations and Product this position will be responsible for developing data driven insights that support sound business decision making and ultimately push the company forward.
What you will do:
On a day to day this role will produce highly analytical revenue, cost and margin analyses based on historical data, sales projections and market intelligence and be responsible for publishing regular reporting on key operating metrics against plan for senior management. You will be responsible for drawing conclusions from data analysis that you access from our proprietary ad-server and Salesforce.com and translate that in to actionable business initiatives. In addition to building ad hoc financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, you will be able to identify areas for report automation, develop requirements and collaborate with system administrators to implement such automation.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will utilize a high attention to detail and strong multi-tasking abilities to succeed in the role. The ideal candidate will be personable and poised, a strong conceptual thinker with high energy, and showcase excellent story-telling skills through writing and presentation.
What you will have done previously to be successful:
The be qualified for this role you must have 2-3 years of data analysis experience, ideally from an Internet company and a Bachelor?s degree (focus on Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred). The successful candidate will possess advanced Excel skills (more than just v look ups) and be very familiar with CRM and ad serving technologies
