Business Intelligence Engineer Gemvara

The Job:
The Lead Business Intelligence Engineer position plays a key role in building and managing our data analytics environment and tools. The ideal candidate for this position has a strong blend of technical capabilities, leadership ability, and the ability to work with the analytics team to drive capability development to grow the business.

What You'll Do:
Work closely with analytics team to develop solutions to address business needs
Translate business requirements into appropriate Data models, ETL processes, data warehouses, and applications
Design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure and reporting to support analytics
Lead the development and expansion of our business intelligence platform
Oversee the development of web based internal dashboards and tools
Gather data from multiple external sources to create integrated databases, reports, and self-service dashboards to drive decision making.

Skills You'll Need To Be Successful:
2-5 Years business intelligence development experience
Excellent Knowledge of SQL
Experience working with and developing Web Analytics/Reporting/BI tools
Experience developing ETL processes and DBA experience
Experience with data warehousing and data modeling
Advanced Excel Experience (Macros, VBA, ODBC, OLAP)
Experience working with third party APIs (Google Analytics, Google Adwords, etc.) a plus
Web development experience a plus
Analytical and creative problem solver
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
