Business Intelligence Lead Developer Everyday Health
The Business Intelligence Lead Developer at Everyday Health Media, LLC in New York, New York will be responsible for strategically designing and implementing business intelligence solutions and systems, including integration with databases, external data, and other data warehouses. This entails designing, coding, and rolling out business intelligence solutions to end users. Responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Lead Developer will include designing, coding, testing, and documenting all new or modified business intelligence systems, applications, and programs; using SQL server including Cube and MDX query building; working with Microsoft BI tools; reporting with Cognos; gathering requirements from various business teams and providing solutions; analyzing past performance metrics in key functional areas and completing predective analytics; designing, creating and maintaining a data warehouse to record day to day business operations; building API?s to gather data from partner sites and other websites; building and supporting web services to expose and share EH data with partners; developing adhoc reports; building a decision support system with necessary KPI?s for high level business team; building efficient multi-dimensional models; Support big data mining solutions using Java, Hadoop and other data mining tools; support predictive models for key functions. The Business Intelligence Lead Developer is also responsible for ensuring high levels of business intelligence availability through support functions and in-depth testing. Work schedule is Monday through Friday; 40 hours per week; 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Bachelor?s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a directly related field, plus four years of data warehouse design experience. The four years of experience must include four years of experience with each of the following: (1) SQL sever experience including Cube and MDX query building; (2) experience with Microsoft BI tools; and (3) reporting experience in Cognos. Must also have experience with Java and Hadoop involving data mining.
