We align with dozens of hospitals to integrate hospitalist programs that best serve patient care needs and achieve goals of quality, safety, efficiency and service.We are currently seeking an experienced Manager of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing for our corporate office in Brentwood, TN. The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for the operations of the Business Intelligence Team. They will provide leadership for the BI Team including staff development, process improvements, ongoing maintenance, and introduction of new analytics capabilities. They will be responsible for the design and support of enterprise wide BI applications, data governance, architecture, and reporting and analytics. The Manager will develop and implement DW strategies that enhance business information, analytics, processes, and decisions in collaboration with senior business and IT leadership.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and lead Business Intelligence initiatives and teams
Initiate and execute business and project plans that support BI requirements.
Develop information technology products for Medical Business Intelligence using SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL reporting services, SQL Server Integration Services and MDX
Develop dashboard and scorecard solutions using a mix of analytic tools
Recommend new technologies to support enterprise wide BI and DW solutions
Interact with the senior management team to understand and prioritize data and information requirements
Required Technical Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 year?s Management experience required
Minimum of 5 years? experience with the design, development, and implementation of Enterprise Class Data Warehouse projects
Strong technical knowledge in various areas of BI delivery with a focus on large and complex database management systems, data analysis, data migration, ETL, OLAP, dimensional data modeling, data integration, database design, dashboard and scorecard design and development, and report development and design using BI tools.
Experience in a BI/DW architect role including project leadership, conceptual modeling, and physical modeling.
Expertise with MS SQL Server, MS BI Tools including SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, and SharePoint. T-SQL proficient and experience with MDX preferred. Ability to conduct research into BI related issues and products
Data Modeling tools for Dimensional Data Modeling (Star and Snowflake Schemas)
Current Microsoft Technologies and Development Platforms, including Team Systems
Strong knowledge of Software development life cycle. Experience with Agile/Scrum will be preferred.
Healthcare knowledge, especially Care Quality initiatives and indexes like, PQRI, DRG, CMI, etc. a plus
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage, lead, and mentor others.
Effective ability to work independently with self-direction and motivation as well as in a collaborative team-environment
QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor of Science Degree required. Master of Science, Business Administration, or applicable degree preferred.
