Essential Responsibilities:
The Business Intelligence Report Developer gathers requirements from the business team and works with the Data Warehouse Architect to deliver reporting solutions with SSRS and SSAS through a SharePoint 2010 platform. Candidates will be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and scorecards for a central reporting solution. The Business Intelligence Report developer will participate in quality assurance testing to meet quality standards and create Powerview solutions to help facilitate data exploration and customization for clients.
Education/Experience Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have a B.A./B.S. with 5 years of experience creating reports using Microsoft SQL server SSRS and SSAS, 8+ preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication and client management skills required.
Person needs strong consulting experience and skills with the ability to work at various organizational levels.
Experience using Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 and its Business Intelligence's components, in particular, deployment and hosting of SSRS reports is a PLUS.
Experience with MS SQL Server 2012 Powerview is preferred.
Have the ability to understand complex business rules and translate them into a SharePoint dashboard or reporting solution.
