Responsibilities:

-Expand and maintain our OLAP pipeline - write ETL's, create cubes, build reports
-Answer the toughest marketing and financial questions, using both external sources and hundreds of internal tables, and subsequently codify the analysis in tools
-Proactively suggest critical metrics and analyses - be a driving part of the business team
-Design and build ROBLOX's next generation real-time analytics system, to provide a continuous feedback mechanism in a self-optimizing user experience
-Provide insight to and educate stakeholders in the interpretation and usage of data


Requirements:

-MS/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, or other quantitative field
-Extensive experience with relational databases, including schema design and performance optimization
-Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and Business Intelligence technology stacks
-Experience with distributed analytic processing technologies is desired (Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, -etc)
-Self-organizing problem solver - be part of the business team, don't just answer questions
-Exceptional communication skills; must be able to explain complex and often subtle analyses.
-Experience with social networks or social gaming analytics a huge plus
