Position Summary:
DriveCam is looking for a resourceful and highly-motivated individual to join DriveCam-New Ventures, a team responsible for developing key growth initiatives within
the company. The New Ventures team is highly visible within the organization reporting through the Vice President, New Ventures to the CEO. The primary responsibilities for the position include leading a cross-functional team to conduct a market assessment of DriveCam?s opportunity in the trucking vertical, develop a high-growth business plan (including all necessary investments, forecasts and go-to-market strategies) and to manage the business activity to hit the targets laid out in the plan. The position requires strong, hands-on, business and general management skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Execute the business plan, driving key activities that achieve agreed-upon growth objectives
Manage the initiative P&L
Evangelize DriveCam?s Trucking /Transportation product and service offerings.
Engage in key customer relationships and assist in complex deal and contract negotiations
Implement best practices and the appropriate level of reporting and process ? striking a balance between (on the one hand) structured operations and (on the other ensuring there is still room for creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.
Make strategic decisions to balance the group short-term objectives with the long-term business plans and achieve both goals in a timely manner.
Collaborate with Sales and Functional teams to drive the business plan
Function as a primary SME (subject matter expert) on DriveCam?s Trucking / Transportation vertical market by understanding the competitive landscape and create strategic initiatives to stay ahead of the competition.
Keeps executives and other team members informed and up-to-date regarding the status/progress of initiatives, and relevant or useful information related to the operations of the business
Ensure business and personnel practices are within the law and consistent with
policies and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master Degree a plus.
WORK EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 10-15 years in the Trucking / Transportation Fleet Market with at least 8 yrs. in a Management leadership role.
Track record of exceeding the Revenue target through collaboration, strategic planning and execution.
Must have legal right to work in the USA.
Maximum 50% required domestic travel

History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term.
Demonstrated ability to identify and act upon business opportunities
P&L Management experience
Deep domain knowledge and understanding of Trucking / Transportation Sector, RFP?s, Industry Trends, Safety and Insurance, DOT Requirements and Financial Selling.
