Who We Want:
The Global Business Operations team is dedicated to providing proactive, consultative information to Sales & Marketing Leadership to maximize the effectiveness and ROI for all global business efforts. The Sr. Operations Analyst position will provide internal stakeholders with quantitative and qualitative analysis/information on how to improve the entire marketing lifecycle. This is a demanding role that requires exceptional analytical, business and technology skills.
We are looking for candidates who are truly passionate about leveraging data to improve our Sales efforts and who have strong analytics skills coupled with industry experience.
This position reports directly to the Director, Global Business Optimization.
Create Business Intelligence using various quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources including SFDC, SQL Database, Google Analytics & Marketo.
Understanding of business processes combined with the ability to translate business needs into SFDC functionality. Design, develop, and implement actionable reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com for Sales.
Analyzes, interprets, and makes recommendations based on gathered data, in the form of formal & ad hoc proposals and/or presentations to upper management.
Analyze the performance of Marketing & Sales Lifecycle, identify trends/best practices, and develop actionable insights and recommendations.
Provide Sales & Marketing Leadership with objective measurements of ROI resulting from marketing expenditure. Assist in maintaining marketing tracking and assist Marketing Leadership with identifying KPI?s
Provide unbiased, timely data and high quality, actionable analyses and recommendations in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Use ad-hoc queries to investigate data issues in relational source systems
Institute and Act on Data Quality measures to clean up our Salesforce.com in partnership with Business Operations.
Act on reporting requests from Key Stakeholders (Business Operations, Senior Sales & Marketing Management)
Work independently & on multiple projects against deadlines in a dynamic environment where consistently producing deliverables within agreed upon timelines is expected
Proactively audit Salesforce.com and suggest improvements to configuration settings and keep current with the latest capabilities of each release in partnership with Business Operations.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
The ideal candidate has previous e-commerce marketing operations experience and meets the following requirements:
BS MIS degree preferred.
4-8 years of SFDC experience and/or 2 or more years SFDC reporting experience, skilled with producing reports and dashboards.
Intermediate knowledge of SQL or MySQL
2 years of experience working with web analytics tools.
Advanced skills in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Reporting automation across many platforms is strongly preferred
Experience working with Senior Leadership and translating their requirements into actionable reports.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated analytical background and knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
Attention to detail, highly organized, with an absolute focus on quality of work
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time, and be self-sufficient in managing tasks.
Positive, self-starter attitude and desire to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
