Business Operations Analyst
The role of a Business Operations Analyst at SailPoint is to create and correct data, systems and processes to support the functional areas of sales, marketing, account management, and support with a focus on Salesforce powered enhancements. The position reports to the Director of Sales Operations but supports cross function groups across the country and team members around the world.
Elicit requirements using a variety of methods/tools.
Plan, design, recommend new and existing business processes to improve and support IT and business activities.
Effectively communicate limitations or challenges with existing or proposed requirements and/or processes.
Identifies, develops, and delivers training needed for implementation (including end user), and provides second tier support after implementation.
Understands downstream process impacts of issues, changes and resolutions across multiple business areas.
Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Build and maintain long-term working relationship with all areas/levels of the organization.
Liaison between various business units, technology teams, support teams and end users in order to include all relevant parties in the problem solving or decision making process
Generate monthly/quarterly reporting package to track performance and key business metrics for the Executive Team and Management.
Create and/or maintain models to identify trends and to support strategic initiatives across the various functional business groups.
Respond to ad-hoc business analytics requests
Design and develop Salesforce and other dashboards for Management
Salesforce responsibilities to include:
Design, architecture, development, implementation, integration, stakeholder training and ongoing support and maintenance of a Salesforce.com production and sandbox instance as part of the cross function team of Salesforce administrators/liaisons group. This role will collaborate with project managers and with stakeholders in internal business units to implement solutions that meet the needs of the business. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills including focused listening, logical thinking and working in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment.
Specific Salesforce duties include but are not limited to:
Maintaining user accounts, roles, profiles and security settings in the Salesforce.com application.
Maintaining and enhancing data integrity through effective design, maintenance and security in the Salesforce.com application.
Assisting in developing, enhancing and maintaining automated processes in and applications integrated with the Salesforce.com application.
Reviewing requirements and work with project managers to refine the technical details of project specifications.
Providing cross-functional training to internal stakeholders.
Data mining, cleansing, and establishing links to outside 3rd party data sources to keep data fresh and accurate
Designing layouts for screens for data entry, dashboards for data visualizations, and reports for data extraction and export to Excel for further analysis
Highly proficient in Excel, with working knowledge in all MS Office Suite software (MS Access, Power Point, Outlook, Word).
Strong Interpersonal, Communication and Organizational skills.
Candidate needs to be Analytical and Detail Oriented, with the ability to analyze and summarize large amounts of data.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous ongoing projects and day-to-day activities.
2 or more years of experience and high knowledge of SalesForce(CRM), including system admin type functions like data manipulation, screen layouts, workflows and automation. Salesforce.com Certification preferred
Experience in SQL, apex triggers, Visualforce is a plus.
Willingness to learn new tool sets and processes
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast changing and pressure to succeed environment
Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Computer Science
2-3 years of work experience.
Significant education or experience with data analysis, data visualization, and integrating distinct databases
Experience with process design, requirements gathering and documentation
Programming languages a plus
Rare business travel is expected for this position.
Austin TX based, no re-location package.
