The Business Operations Analyst is responsible for business insights and comprehensive financial reporting on our broad ecosystem of media partners. Your role will be to ?tame the tornado? ? by using your superior analytical skills to gather, compile, model, and analyze financial data to simplify and measure sales and enterprise results. As a member of the Business Operations team which combines financial planning with sales operations and process management, you will work closely with many functions within Datalogix spanning business teams to technical teams, sales teams to execution teams, and will play a key role in helping Datalogix succeed with its high growth objectives. This function is equal parts financial tracking, sales operations and business analysis.
Specific responsibilities include:
Managing incoming reports from our media partners, both financially and analytically.
Working with the operations team to take complex data and develop valuable reports that drive business insights for go-to-market teams and Datalogix management.
Providing ad-hoc support to Vertical Sales and Solutions teams, Accounting, and management
Analyzing and interpreting data to maximize sales and operational effectiveness.
Identifying trends and anomalies, develop hypotheses with supporting data, and present to senior management, operations managers, business owners, and sales managers.
Supporting the financial month-end close process.
Assisting weekly and monthly forecasting processes.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong MS Excel skills a must ? Some VBA skills a plus
Knowledge of basic SQL skills a plus
Experience doing analysis for and working with sales teams and operations teams
Proven detail orientation and organization skills with ability to maintain big picture perspective
Extremely strong analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills required
Capacity to multi-task and prioritize effectively, working extremely well under pressure
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, establish strong working relationships, utilize resources within cross-functional teams, and be flexible within a fast-paced and changing environment job
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Management or related
Ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in a role that includes business analysis, finance, sales operations, and/or product management
