This position will be responsible for leading/facilitating project tasks in order to assess and streamline business processes utilizing existing tools. Position will also provide business/data analysis, technical specification documentation, report development/delivery and support of all internal and external projects, including metrics management.
oDegree in Business, Computer Science, Business Management(or related field)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, or Characteristics
o3-5 years of related work experience, understand and possess the ability to apply project life-cycle methodology.
oExperience defining software requirements, writing use cases, functional specifications and enhancement requests, and creating prototypes.
oStrong analytical background.
oDemonstrated ability to drive process improvement
oExcellent verbal and written communication skill, including strong questioning and listening skills; ability to look beyond obvious answers, and understand the impact on other areas is required.
Helpful / Preferred
oProfessional Registration and/or Master?s degree.
oEffectively manages and can thrive with ambiguity
oExperienced with MS Office, Visio, Visual Basic, SQL, and Linux environment preferred.
oFamiliarity with ITIL Foundations or experience with ITIL Framework.
Functions and Responsibilities (?in addition to other duties as assigned)
1.Define, implement and maintain business processes and policies to meet business objectives.
2.Evaluate current business processes and recommend solutions for improvements.
3.Assists the technical team in translating application functionality into application architecture and the production of a System Functionality document.
4.Designs and executes test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are tested and fulfilled.
5.Documenting requirements and technical specifications from results of business analysis and obtaining agreement on specifications.
6.Collaborates with cross-departmental teams in the design and execution of key processes.
7.Understands the long-term business objectives and suggest technical strategies to meet
those objectives; introduces innovation to business process through technology.
8.Assists client in developing content or other materials; recommending enhancements and identifying new business requirements.
9.Plan and facilitate continuous improvement activities and practices with a focus on the elimination of waste and rework, improving quality, reducing operational costs, improving efficiencies and standardizing processes/procedures
10.Maintenance and upkeep of project tracking documentation including action item lists, project plans and summary reports
