Overview:
MachineryLink is currently seeking a Business Project Manager to be the
leader for various projects, with an initial focus on replacing the IMS tool.
Ultimately, the Project Manager will be the owner for executing the schedule of
delivery of our fleet of combines and reporting on key performance indicators.
This position requires thorough understanding of our business processes to help
the design and implementation of software tools to support our requirements.
This position reports to the Director of Planning and Logistics.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
? Work with Finance, Operations, Transportation and Planning departments
to identify and document current state business requirements for IMS
replacement, specifically customer, contract, planning and scheduling
data.
? Develop future state model that streamlines workflow processes and then
build them into the software replacement.
? Document future state process.
? Develop training materials and train users on the new software.
? Become the business expert in planning and scheduling processes.
? Coordinate team of business owners to ensure timely completion of
project tasks and deliver on overall project timeline.
? Actively work to streamline process flow to eliminate waste.
? Act as the liaison between the business and IT developers.
Skills and Educational Requirements:
? Experience with software installation or upgrades.
? Must have strong conflict management, analytical, problem-solving and
organizational skills.
? Excellent leadership skills.
? Experience with ERP systems.
? Must be able to work with stakeholders with differing priorities.
? Experience implementing/upgrading software solutions.
? Multi-tasking skills with an ability to meet established deadlines.? Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
? Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.
? Highly motivated, dependable and goal oriented. A dynamic problem
solver and team player.
? Experience in a lean environment and with value stream mapping.
? College degree or equivalent.
