Job Responsibilities
The company's headquarters is based in Calabasas, California with 14 offices globally including mainland China, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
DTS is looking for an analytical, motivated and self-starter to join their Business Support team and to play a key part in working closely with the Company's customers servicing their of business requests related to the licensing of the company's Intellectual Property. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work in a global cross functional environment engaging with business development, business & legal affairs, finance, compliance & audit and engineering personnel to ensure the efficient execution of business & customer requests while adhering to pre defined service levels. Daily communication with DTS' customers in servicing their licensing related needs, will be a core responsibility and consequently the ability to analyze and interpret license agreements will be required of the successful candidate in addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills. Business Support will provide the central point of contact for all business service requests but may also be required to assist with the execution of requests for other regions as part of a globally distributed team with a "follow-the-sun" operational model.
To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will also need to be strongly detail orientated and will be required to provide regular status updates and reports to relevant stakeholders.
The Business Support role will form part of a globally distributed team responsible for the day to day functions associated with the administration and facilitation of all DTS business & legal affairs requests working under the supervision of the Company's Business Support Manager.
Required Education and Experience
?3+ years of work experience in a similar role
?Experience working in a multi-national company
?Experience working in a customer service/support role
?Understanding and a like for technology
?Knowledge/Experience of the Consumer Electronics markets a plus
?Knowledge/Experience of legal contracts and IP licensing a distinct advantage
?Must possess excellent computer skills along with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
?Experience using support/ticketing tools (e.g. SalesForce, Footprints)
?Fluent in an Asian language(Korean, Japanese, Chinese) is an advantage
