Position Summary:
InvestEdge, Inc. continues to enjoy rapid growth in terms of client franchise and solution breadth. As our client franchise and solution has grown, the complexities associated with the solution functionality and client support has increased.
InvestEdge is seeking a results-oriented individual to manage the solution knowledge base inventory, coordinate the application release process, and execute occasional client business analyst assignments.
Responsibilities:
Initial responsibilites include:
Maintain the InvestEdge solution functional documentation library.
Maintain the client custom functionality business documentation library.
Coordinate the collection and documentation of business requirements and functional designs for planned solution releases.
Coordinate the regression and acceptance testing of planned solution releases, including creating test plans, assist with testing, documenting issues, and following issue to resolution.
For client business analyst assignments, responsibilities include:
Gather business requirements from clients. Depending upon the project, the client may be a senior manager, a portfolio manager, an operations manager, an IT person, or a team of people from these various areas.
Work closely with Implementation Managers and Developers to formulate and document proposed solutions.
Present proposed solutions to clients.
Work closely with Client Relationship Managers to coordinate tasks and to ensure objectives and deadlines are being met.
Create test plans, assist with testing, document issues, and follow issue to resolution.
Create training documents and present to InvestEdge staff and client?s support staff.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Assist the Quality Assurance Team when needed with all aspects of core application functional validation and documentation in relation to both new software releases and production software maintenance changes.
Qualifications:
The position requires knowledge of terms and concepts used in the investment management and investment processing industries. The ideal candidate will have experience in some or all of the following areas: portfolio management, trading, performance measurement, and trust operations. The position requires strong analytical skills, and experience writing technical documents such as system requirements, test plans, user guides, and system documentation.
Additional Qualifications include:
5 years experience in the Investment Management and/or Wealth Management Investment Processing industry.
3-5 years experience in a client facing business analyst role or in portfolio management, trading, performance measurement, and/or trust operations.
Strong written/oral communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required. Knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries is helpful.
