Placemark develops, implements and supports wealth solutions, including Unified Managed Account
platforms and retirement solutions for broker/dealers, registered investment advisors, banks and

Placemark coordinates multiple investment vehicles such as separately managed accounts, mutual
funds and ETFs into a single customized portfolio.

Reporting to the Manager, Product Development, you will be responsible for analyzing and
translating business requirements for new or enhanced user interface features for Placemark?s
Advisor Workstation and Manager Workstation platforms. Working from use cases generated
by the product management team, you will develop actionable functional specifications that
document workflows and processes for the technology team. As the primary interface between
business and technology teams, you will have a significant role in ensuring that software
developers have all the information they need to complete projects efficiently and on time.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience documenting processes and
workflows and creating functional specifications in one or more of the following: web
applications, financial services-related applications or back-office processing systems.
Experience in application development, software testing or working with teams in an agile
development environment would be a major advantage.
In order to be effective in this role, you must have strong interpersonal and communications
skills, as well as a desire to learn and create measurable value. Given the nature of Placemark?s
business, it is important that you grasp the key elements of human interaction with data/systems.
