Business Systems Analyst, SFDC Yelp

The Business Systems Analyst is critical to defining and implementing Yelp?sbusiness and salesprocess solutions. In this role, you will work with a team of top-notch developers and system admins to drive business solutions via our complex SFDC instance supporting over 900 users and growing. Your solutions will empower our sales team and help drive global revenue opportunities. With tens of millions of people visiting Yelp each month and countless sales transactions, we generate a ton of data. You will drive systems requirements that make this data more useful and accessible for selling, sales reporting, analysis and monitoring. You will also work with our sales team to identify ways to make salespeople more effective and productive by refining their tools and surfacing key metrics.
This role supports a variety of different departments at Yelp and is part of the Revenue Operations team (primarily focused on the Sales Department).
Responsibilities:
Analyze, define, and implement global cross-functional business process solutions to improve the efficiency and productivity of the business, including all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management
Assess business processes to define the current state, identify inefficiencies and gatherand interpret requirements from business partners
Manage all aspects of the SDLC and project management tasks as needed, including interpreting business requirements, translating into functional design and articulating priority level relative to other projects/tasks
Define and document proposed processes to confirm requirements with business partners as well as provide sufficient detail for developers to create technical solutions, including creating requirements, process flows, and design documentation
Implement the solution by providing direction and feedback during the process of technical design and development
Strategize change management by analyzing the gap between the current state and future state to determine the areas of user acceptance risk
Implement a testing strategy for confirming the functionality of technical solutions; create test plans and test scripts and execute test scripts and track issues and resolutions for both technical acceptance and user acceptance testing
Develop and deliver training materials for new technology releases; maintain business process definitions and keep training materials updated
Requirements:
4-year college degree (or equivalent experience) plus 5 years experience in working with the SalesForce.com environment as a Business Systems Analyst or an advanced degree (MBA/MS) in a technology-related field and 3 years experience in working with the SalesForce.com environment as a Business Systems Analyst
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while consistently demonstrating excellent judgement and a collaborative approach to problem solving
Ability to prioritize effectively across important and urgent issues while working on multiple projects simultaneously
