Business Systems Developer Data Robotics

General Summary

Drobo is a thriving data storage company headquartered in San Jose, CA. We are currently in search of an enthusiastic, proactive Business Systems Developer to support our various production applications including, but not limited to, Great Plains, Salesforce.com and ADP. With a focus on Microsoft Dynamics GP, this position will be the primary business partner between IT and other departments with the ability to gather requirements and execute quickly. This position will be the primary technical owner of all of our business applications.
Essential Responsibilities

Deep knowledge of Great Plains and Microsoft SQL. Salesforce, Right Now a plus.
Focus on building tools to provide seamless integration between our disparate systems.
Act as the primary technical resource, providing new development, support, and enhancements to our business systems.
Ability to work cross-functionally with other business units, gather requirements, and implement solutions based on those requirements.
This position will be the single point of contact for all current and future Business System projects

Job Specifications/Requirements

5-10 years Microsoft Dynamics GP experience
Must have Microsoft Dynamics GP functional experience in GL, Payables Management, Receivables Management, Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Multicurrency, FRx, Management Reporter
Ability to review existing Great Plains code, clean up, and update documentation. Troubleshoot existing GP customizations.
Strong Microsoft SQL scripting and administration are required. Ability to generate and automate stored procedures, reporting, and maintenance required.
Manage our MS SQL database server, including backups, security enhancements, cleanup, and maintenance.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, flexible, diverse, demanding and exciting environment.
