Position Description
The Buyer for the Recertified category is primarily responsible for managing the purchasing processes to the assigned category in order to optimize sales and margin goals by defining and establishing pricing, category product planning and execution and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
Work with Category Manager (s) to manage assigned categories, including inventory planning and management, buying, pricing strategy and merchandising.
Managing the purchase order process including ensuring the PO?s are issued within the limit, request credit line increases from vendor, forward supporting documents to vendor and update PO system, if applicable
Ensure the inventory is managed according to the set standards including inventory ratio, cold items are returned or sold quickly, slow moving items are not overstocked and inventory is balanced among the three major warehouses.
Enhance and manage vendor relationship to get the best support from vendor including procurement of highest quality products at the lowest price possible
Responsible for attainment of sales and margin goals, reducing inventory write off, open box, RMA rate and returns.
Review vendor agreements and collaborate with legal team for final approval.
Oversees and manages warehouse inbound/outbound flow: PO tracking/adjustment, improve vendor lead time, stock receiving active, resolve operation discrepancies, in stock return, product defects, outstanding RMA.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field
At least 2 years of work experience in IT component procurement/Sales or Marketing
Solid product knowledge in IT component
Retail E-commerce experience is highly desired
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, time management and quantitative/analytical skills required.
