Position:Jawbone is looking for an experienced C/C++ Software Developer to be part of its software development team. The position will be focused towards building native applications that work across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
? Architect, design and implement Desktop and Mobile applications.
? Be a key member of Aliph?s core software team, responsible for short application development cycles and product lifecycle.
? Provide best-practice for desktop development, develop/maintain build systems, desktop applications, tools, and re-usable components
? Gather functional requirements to generate technical design specifications and build web applications
? Self starting side projects contributing to Jawbone's product offerings and growth.
Qualifications:
? Minimum of 5-10 years of experience developing native application for Windows and Mac.
? Strong understanding of Object Oriented programming and data structures.
? Experience writing code for multitasking operating systems.
? Experience with driver development ? USB, Bluetooth
? Solid understanding of end-to-end SW development tool chains and environments for Desktop environments (Mac and PC)
Skills/Experience:
? Excellent communication and organizational skills
? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
? Experience working with cloud-based hosting services and external hosting partners
? Experience with disciplined software release build/deploy processes
? Ability to work on multiple overlapping projects
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
? Motivated by continuous learning and development, dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required (Math, EE, etc.); MS or PhD always a plus.
