broadband test equipment and channel emulators for Wi-Fi, WiMAX, LTE and other 4G technologies.
Azimuth?s products are used by the world?s foremost wireless semiconductor and system vendors as
well as by leading service providers to speed time-to-market and improve wireless service quality.
Azimuth?s standardized test solutions enable research, development, QA and marketing engineers to
test the performance, conformance and certification of broadband wireless devices and networks
supporting data, voice and video applications.
Currently we are seeking a talented C# Software Engineer to join our team at our office in Acton,
MA in the continued development of Azimuth?s test and measurement products. This includes the
enhancement and evolution of existing products, as well as the design and implementation of new
software and hardware systems.
Responsibilities:
? Design and develop best-in-class features for a stand-alone software package with heavy
emphasis on manipulation, transformation and visualization of large data sets
? Develop novel, exciting, visually pleasing and highly useful graphical user interfaces for a product
in its early stages of design and development
? Create algorithms to aid in the performance of real-world wireless devices including the latest
4G cell phones
? Working in the lab with the latest 4G cell phone and modem s and base stations to innovate
new solutions and capabilities
? Work closely with Sales Engineers and customers to create solutions to specific customer needs
both tactically and strategically
? Contribute to leadership in bringing new design tools and software development process
techniques to continuously improve the efficiency and quality of our products development
Requirements:
? 3+ years of software development experience
? A minimum of 1 year of continuous development using C#, .NET and WPF
? Excellent understanding and practical use of OOD methodology and tools
? Academic knowledge in the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering including Electromagnetic
Propagation, Signals and Systems and similar topics
? Experience or academic knowledge of wireless communications, especially with a focus on the
PHY and MAC layers is desirable
? Agile software development methodology experience a strong plus
