C++ Software Engineer WideOrbit

Job Description:

WideOrbit is looking for Lead C++ Software Engineer. WideOrbit is the leader in business management software for Media companies, providing innovative, proven solutions for managing broadcast and cable operations. Our software powers more than 4,000 stations and networks around the globe, managing more than 14 billion in annual advertising revenue. WideOrbit is financially a very stable organization with more than 100 million in existing no-cancel contracts over the next 5 years.


Required Skills AND EXPERIENCE:

- 3 or more years C++ development, high-level OO design experience and expertise
- Experience accessing OLEDB and ADO via C++
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server development (Stored Procs/Functions/T-SQL/.Net)
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics or equivalent
- Excellent written and oral communications skills


DESIRABLE Skills AND EXPERIENCE:

- Experience and knowledge of mission critical 24x7 environments
- Multi-threaded software design and development
