Cable Solutions Marketing Manager Minerva Networks
A. Purpose and Scope
The Cable Solutions Marketing Manager is the product leader for Minervas IPTV and Hybrid TV solutions for the Cable industry. She/he is the primary interface between the Companys product management and sales teams. She/he is also the primary contact for third-party Cable eco-system partners.
Main responsibilities include:
Define Minervas solutions for the Cable market
Drive the selection of eco-system partners
Provide Cable solutions feature requirements to Product Management
Develop solutions white papers
Support Sales in RFP and RFQ responses focused on the Cable market
Provide content for the Cable Solutions section of Companys website
Participate in sales calls
C. Organization Relationships
The Cable Solutions Marketing Manager reports to the EVP of Products and GM of Broadband TV
A. Education and Training
College degree required. Engineering degree CS, EE, BS is preferred. MBA is a plus.
B. Required Skills
Must be a self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well at all levels in the organization. Polished presentation skills and effective interpersonal communication are a must. Extensive Cable market and technology knowledge is required. The applicant must be able to interface effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel. Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications. Prior experience in infrastructure software and service provider business is a plus.
C. Managerial Experience
At least five years of experience in Product Management, Solution Marketing
At least three years of recent experience as Product Manager or Solution Marketing Manager in infrastructure software and Digital Cable.
