Systems Administrators armed with Five9 autodialer certification, superior understanding of call center operations (including a healthy dose of user empathy) and an overall mindset driven by best practices will be well suited to implement their overall vision for HotChalk in Phoenix. As the first person hired in this role, you'll showcase your technical prowess and leadership skills as you maintain and enhance our internal dialer, phone and CRM systems. Within our Operations Department, you'll have a high degree of autonomy and visibility throughout the organization as you work with and optimize the functionality of Five9, our homegrown Accordion CRM system and Telesphere. This role is tailor made for a motivated and self-sufficient individual whose management of a dialer system enables them to hit the ground running. As our Phoenix-based Systems Administrator, your first mission out of the gate will be to immerse yourself in how our business works and how our systems support that business. Once up to speed, we'll rely on you for the insights needed to recognize areas we can optimize for peak performance and user satisfaction. This is not a role for the prototypical heads-down IT personality; we seek someone who has balance -- a mix of technical acumen and business savvy. It's imperative that your personality be one to which our users can easily relate, and that within a diverse group of employees you have the patience to work at each user's skill level. Equally important will be your innate sense of urgency if our systems crash, business stops coupled with a highly developed ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues that occur when complex systems interact. Internally these would be: Five9, the lynchpin of our call center operations; Telesphere, our current phone system and Accordion, our in-house management system. Prior experience with CampusVue or Salesforce.com will allow you to understand the interworkings between Accordion and Five9. You'll also gain exposure to cutting-edge frameworks such as Ruby on Rails and the subtleties of interfacing the APIs of our partner universities to Accordion and Five9.
