We're looking for Interns to serve as Campus Ambassadors for the Fall and Winter terms who are involved with on-campus organizations (e.g. Greek houses, student government, sports teams, professional organizations/societies, etc) and have strong networking and communications skills who are interested in learning at an accelerated pace while working on important business building initiatives.
Currently recruiting for Campus Ambassador / Interns on the following campuses:
Northwestern University
DePaul University
Loyola University
University of Illinois at Chicago
University of Chicago
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow Campus Ambassador / Interns from other Chicagoland campuses, and to work from AMG's downtown office from time to time throughout the program. Day to day opportunities and responsibilites will include:
Collaborating with AMG team members and fellow on-campus reps on the development, execution and tracking of on-campus marketing plan for the initial Chicagoland rollout of Pear (http://getpear.com) :
Word-of-mouth/guerrila marketing: Spreading the word about sponsorship opportunities amongst the members of your own and your friends' on-campus groups through at on-campus events and through social media
PR: Contacting members of the press and student organization board members to promote the platform amongst your peers
Business Development: Assisting AMG team members in reaching local businesses who might be interested in sponsoring on-campus groups through Pear
Oportunities to attend meetings with Fortune 100 brands, top ad agencies and leading venture capital investors and advisors
This learning opportunity is unparalleled because Apparel Media interns report directly to executives and founders.
Although this internship/program may be used for college credit, it is an unpaid engagement. However, the top performing Campus Ambassadors (most groups referred into Pear, best splash on campus, etc) will receive cash stipends at the end of the semester, based on a performance review, as well as the opportunity to interview for Summer Internships and even Full-time positions at the company.
