CASA Technician SynCardia Systems
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the daily production and long term goals of the CASA department.
Perform all CASA Service operations to the highest degree of reliability while in compliance with applicable written procedures.
Perform required CASA Operational tests in compliance with Quality requirements to insure optimal performance of finished product.
Assist Materials Control in maintaining necessary inventories of required component parts for CASA assembly to ensure optimal production efficiency and customer delivery.
Coordinate CASA assembly activities to meet required Quality criteria and customer and production schedules.
Assist in failure investigations, as directed by the Senior CASA Technician, on returned equipment and document findings.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on select facilities equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation as directed
by Senior CASA Technician.
Perform all necessary related tasks with minimal supervision.
Meet and exceed production and Quality expectations set forth in manufacturing.
Follow all procedures in manufacturing, and provide input for process improvements.
Assist Senior CASA Technician in planning and daily operations as required.
Responsibility and Authority Affecting Quality
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to the product, process and Quality System.
Identify, record, and assist in correcting any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
Verify the implementation of solutions.

Operate all necessary equipment and tools required in assembly operations
Read and interpret drawings and specifications used in all aspects of assembly procedures

Education, experience and training (required for the job)
High school diploma or equivalent
3 to 5 years of electronic equipment experience or equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability and willingness to identify requirements of internal and external customers and
satisfy them in accordance with regulations and company Quality policies.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors,
subordinates.

The working environment is indoors and is seasonally heated and cooled with minimal noise levels.
The position requires the ability to move objects of more than 25 pounds.
The position requires the ability to communicate in person, telephonically and via email.
