The Cashier Manager?s responsibilities include monitoring and controlling departmental performance. Ensure that functions are performed in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure that EverBank?s vision, policies and procedures are adhered to. Support all cash processing projects. Ensure that key performance indicators are met and reporting green on a monthly basis. Prepare and submit monthly management reports to upper level management.
? Oversee and manage operations and staff in the Cashier Department.
? Responsible for ensuring daily cash collections from mortgagors and all payments are posted to MSP in an accurate and timely manner.
? Track and analyze risk indicators as it relates to cash applications.
? Manage the relationship with the lock box vendor.
? Manage departmental budget and expenses.
? Manage career development of staff.
? Ensure key performance indicators remain green and the integrity of data.
? Maintain and enhance productivity within department.
? Manage hiring and coaching processes.
? Prepare and deliver performance appraisals.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skill and Abilities Requirements)
? Technical expertise in cash processes
? High level of decision making ability required
? Ability to coach and counsel employees in their career development
? Ability to maintain and enhance productivity through developing workable ideas and solutions
? High level of team building skills
? High level of Microsoft Excel skills
? Knowledge and skills in Passport
? High math aptitude
? Knowledge of LPS? MSP
? Ability to facilitate the process of building scripts within MSP Director
? Ability to manage time efficiently
? Strong analytical skills while able to perform under intense time pressures
Training and Experience
? Bachelor degree preferred
? Seven years of mortgage banking experience required, preferably in cash management
? Three years of supervisory/management experience required
