CAT-Home Health Coordinator Cypress Care
The CAT HHC is responsible for facilitating the oversight of Home Health services for complex cases. The position?s scope includes training, monitoring, and coaching of CAT and Home Health team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Review and monitor the daily productivity and quality of work produced
? Responsible for reviewing and processing all incoming referrals and correspondence via email, phone and fax.
? Assist staff in processing orders and resolving order delays.
? Ensure adequate training and resources / tools are available for employees to effectively manage the volume of orders.
? Review and improve SOP?s to increase efficiency/productivity and quality.
? Serve as a mentor on the team and lead by example.
? Identify areas of opportunity, coach employees on best practices in developing and enhancing employee skills.
? Build and maintain relationship with clients, injured workers and vendors.
? Process implantable orders with our preferred providers
? Establish solid working relationships with other departments to accomplish common organizational goals.
? Other tasks as directed by the Company from time to time.

? Associates Degree in Medical Sciences preferred but not required.
? Knowledge of medical terminology and applications
? Prior experience in medical setting desired
? Previous experience in workers? compensation or insurance preferred
? Proficiency in the use of Internet research skills and the suite of Microsoft Office applications
? Excellent Customer Service skills required
? Strong verbal and written communications skills, including excellent people skills.
? Ability to train and develop staff.
? Customer problem resolution; handles escalated calls.
? Ability for vendor negotiation.
? Ability to manage work flow.
? Knowledge of Sequoia/Magnolia.
? Understanding of managed care contracts, workers compensation legal requirements, and fee schedules required.
? Familiar with medical terminology, HCPC, ICD-9, and CPT Coding required.
? Must have excellent phone skills and be able to work well independently.
