Job Description :
ICG Commerce is seeking a Category Management Lead with deep Marketing sourcing and supplier management experience to help customers drive tangible results. In this capacity, you will work on a dedicated basis with an ICG Commerce customer with responsibility for delivering category management services including, but not limited to, strategic sourcing, client stakeholder management, supplier performance management, and continuous cost and performance improvement. This role will be located in New York. Specifically, you will:
Design and implement cost savings projects across multiple Marketing sub-categories including Ad/Creative/PR Agencies, Exhibitor/Trade Shows, Market Research, Commercial Print, Fulfillment, Promotional, and Media
Engage with customers? senior management team members to drive strategic initiatives and communicate progress.
Measure and manage ?suppliers?? (aka providers, agencies, etc.) performance relative to contracted service levels.
Experience developing annual opportunity assessments across all Marketing categories of spend to establish annual sourcing wave plans in support of achieving overall savings targets.
Represent the Marketing procurement support for highly notable brands.
Identify and resolve strategic supplier performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements.
Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost and performance improvement strategies.
Coach and develop team members in their performance and professional development.

Job Requirements :
5+ years as a leader in the field of Marketing-related procurement
Ability to effectively lead formal strategic sourcing efforts related to Marketing materials and services
Deep knowledge of multiple Marketing categories including Ad/Creative/PR Agencies, Exhibitor/Trade Shows, Market Research, Commercial Print, Fulfillment, Promotional, and Media
Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing
Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Excel) and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft PowerPoint)
A bachelor?s degree, MBA preferred
