Essential Job Functions: Operate Class A delivery vehicle and associated equipment in an efficient and expense conscious manner. Load and unload trucks/trailers as required Complete pre and post trip vehicle inspections, insure that required preventive maintenance is completed on vehicles being operated and follow safety procedures Insure that all materials are properly secured for transit. Maintain a drivers log book as required Be willing to work overtime as needed Follow all company policies and procedures. Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, rules, and guidelines. Comply with all elements of the Quality Policy and use the Quality System, including ISO procedures, corrective and preventative actions, the customer complaint policy, and best practices to achieve continuous process improvements and ensure total customer satisfaction. Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a professional, courteous, respectful, ethical manner with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors. Use good judgment and common sense. Experience and Education Required: Required (R) or Desired/Preferred (D) (R) Read, Speak and Write English (R) High school diploma or GED (R) Must be at least 21 years of age (R) 1 2 years previous driving experience in a Class A vehicle Required Skills and Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL Drivers License Maintain a valid Medical Examiners Certificate (physical card) in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR). | Location: | York, PA United States |
