Summary: Responsible for driving, operating, and maintaining all pumping services equipment such as cement pumping units and bulk equipment. Assembles and prepares equipment for installation and service, performs pre and post equipment inspections and maintenance, assists the Cementing Supervisor, and contributes to safe rigging operations during and after service delivery.

Drive truck-mounted units and equipment to well sites.
Continually enhance knowledge and familiarity with field equipment and terminology, the correct use and care of personal protective equipment (PPE), Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Hazmat, transporting dangerous goods such as fluids and chemicals (TDG), Emergency Response Plans, the location and use of all required safety equipment, fire fighting, and dealing with hydrogen sulfide (H2S) situations.
Maintain truck and cementing equipment to TCI standards, and ensure all equipment, including personal protective equipment is in proper working order.
Participate in and monitor execution of job/service; watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure machine is working correctly.
Control operation of equipment or systems by using control mechanisms or by direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.
Monitor well control calculations and parameters.
Determine causes of operating errors and assist supervisor is deciding what is needed to correct error/s.
Perform routine maintenance on cementing equipment.
Keep paper work current; maintenance sheets, fuel logs, log books, pre/post trips and month end expense accounts and job summary.
Communicate effectively with supervisor in planning and execution of TCI services.
Maintain TCI safety standards at all times; shop, yard, work site location and traveling.
Know and comply with mandated federal and state requirements effecting job.
Immediately report all accidents, incidents, injuries, hazards or potentially hazardous situations to supervisor.
Attend and participate in all safety and general meetings.
Actively participate in the training of qualified Bulk Equipment Operators as to how to operate and maintain cement pumping equipment

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED or one or more years related experience and/or training in the operation of cement pumping equipment: or equivalent combination of education and experience in the oil/gas/geothermal field cementing industry.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Effectively write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
Mathematical Skills: Has basic concepts of math, algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability: to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge in Word Processing and Spreadsheet software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Class A Driver License with valid medical certificate: TSA certified. Certificate of achievement from an accredited oil well cementing institute is desirable but not required.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to speak Spanish helpful but not normally required.
Other Requirements: Incumbent must be open to extensive travel and working 12 to 24 hour &ldquo: On-Call status shifts with varying work schedules; for example, 15 days on, 6 days off.
