Cementing Supervisor ThermaSource
Summary: Provides necessary planning and oversight of each cementing job to ensure customer satisfaction for work performed.

Provides planning necessary for the job; including equipment to be used, training of crew members.
Ensure customer satisfaction with work performed: coordinates and directs the activities of service operators and coordinates the clean up, repair and preparation of equipment for the next job.
Performs accurate calculations on all aspects of cement job to ensure the work is carried out properly and according to customer expectations.
Serves as the safety mentor for the crew on well-site, addresses all safety concerns by personal intervention and/or contacting appropriate safety and management personnel.
Prepares customer invoices on job site: records job data from data recording system.
Carries out the quality control": and quality assurance" role on the job site to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that World Class customer service is always provided.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Leads and supervises up to 10 field employees including planning, assigning, and directing work at the well site. May provide input to management for appraising performance. Addresses complaints and resolves problems independently or with the assistance of the Field Supervisor.

Qualifications: The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully.
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED or five or more years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience in the oil/gas/geothermal field cementing industry.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Effectively write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, pressure and volume; including pipe capacities and volume/height math, plug landing pressures and absolute volume. Understanding the concepts of basic algebra and geometry will be helpful.
Reasoning Ability: to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge in Word Processing and Spreadsheet software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Class A Driver License with valid medical certificate: TSA certified. Certificate of achievement from an accredited oil well cementing institute is desirable but not required.
Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to speak Spanish helpful but not normally required.
Other Qualifications: Must be open to extensive travel and working 12 to 24 hour shifts with varying work schedules including working status of &ldquo: On-Call.
