THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Center for Diagnostic Imaging (CDI), headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota for more than three decades, partnered with Insight Imaging in 2012 to create one of the nation?s largest radiology providers for fixed site and mobile diagnostic imaging and interventional services. Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Our organization will serve nearly a million patients in 2013, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community?s needs, in collaboration with radiologists, healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems. We currently have an attractive opportunity for a Center Manager in our Puget Sound market, specifically the central/northern region managing multiple centers.
Position is accountable for all operational aspects of running multiple centers, which includes planning, staff management, budget management, maintaining relationships with referring groups, and on-going customer service functions. This position is responsible for meeting the quality and operational goals (i.e., efficiency, productivity, costs, etc.) for the centers under their area of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
?Champions the values and builds the culture to support the goals of CDI while fostering an environment where customer service is a priority
?Evaluates current processes to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives
?Plans, organizes, develops, implements and interprets the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc. necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation
?Develops and manages the budget for the centers and makes responsible financial decisions for the centers
?Assists Director of Operations in making responsible financial decisions for the centers by partnering with local management to meet or exceed financials goals
?Monitors performance and profitability of services offered
?Provides ongoing and timely communication to management and staff regarding center performance, staff performance, events, issues, etc. related to the center and CDI.
?Maintains positive interactions at all times with payors, referring offices, patients, CDI staff, and the Radiologists
?Leads regular staff meetings and associate one-on-one discussions
?Participates in staff performance evaluations, compensation recommendations and development of associates including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/or termination of associates
?Oversees and assists in training of new associates and supervisors, providing resource and technical expertise
?Supports and conducts training efforts for continuing education for the technologists and nurses
?Ensures all technologists are compliant with CEU credits, in good standing with appropriate registries, updated with CPR credits, etc.
?Interfaces with CDI Radiologists to create and maintain up-to-date protocol manuals for all modalities
?Maintains staff retention by implementing effective retention strategies
?Ensures appropriate physician coverage for all contrast and sedation studies
?Interfaces with Medical Director, Director of Operations, Regional VP, and all technical and administrative staff to ensure effective teamwork and efficient center operations
?Administers quality programs and meets or exceeds key quality and productivity measures in patient service, customer (referral) service, clinical programs, and administrative functions
?Maintains a safe environment for patients, technologists, radiologists and any other center associates with the assistance of the center safety coordinator
?Assists local management team in maintaining relationships with outside referring physician offices via personal visits and/or ensuring highest quality of customer service functions
?Implements strategies to promote teamwork within the center and with other CDI associates including management and radiologists
?Performs functions of technologist or front office as needed and as qualified
?Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

?Knowledge of current technical skills and procedural understanding to perform a full range of radiologic scanning procedures
?Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
?Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
?Requires 3-5 years of related medical experience, preferably in outpatient radiology imaging
?Requires 3 years of proven management and supervisory experience
?Must have proven and effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
?Local travel regularly and some out of state travel occasionally required
?Experience managing teams in multiple locations is preferred
?BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent education and experience preferred
?Radiologic technology knowledge and/or certification a plus
