Reports to: CEO
Finance leader for a high growth, commercial stage, generic pharmaceutical company. CFO will insure sound financial planning and budgeting, rigorous analysis, strong controls and transparent reporting and information sharing. CFO will oversee and insure adequate operational build out to support rapid commercial growth in line with anticipated FDA approval and commercialization for 20+ new generic drug products for pets.
CFO will be an operationally oriented, energetic, stellar communicator with CEO and Board as well as an open and supportive team builder. He/she will collaborate, share information and develop metrics with management to support sound, transparent decision making. CFO will enjoy being more hands on initially with a small team and building out a lean, efficient finance team as the company grows.

CPA with 15+ years of experience directing accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and related responsibilities, ideally including management role at a rapidly growing company. Candidates with the right experience who are ready to step up to the CFO role at a rapidly growing company are encouraged to apply.
Education: B.A./B.S. required, MBA highly desirable.
Experience in pharmaceutical or similar industry a plus. Position is based in Portland, Maine.
