The Aircell Change Analyst will be responsible for coordinating design documentation and product structures for AirCell products including Engineering Change Orders and Bill of Materials through all phases of the product lifecycle. It will require a strong certification and documentation process knowledge.
Monitor and coordinate change activity as identified by engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, and other functional groups; Prepare and distribute change reports;
Monitor changes to products, ensuring that change documentation adequately describes the change and meets FAA change requirements;
Work with engineering, product management, and operations to determine the appropriate bill of material structure on all new product releases;
Facilitate the change management process used for updating product. Ensure appropriate approval and notification of change activity;
Ensure changes to item masters are transferred to the ERP system;
Maintain accurate and thorough records either electronically or hard copy on all engineering documentation to ensure accurate product builds, part ordering and product updates;
Attend product cross-functional team meetings to represent the CM function in support of development schedules;
Be an advisor to all areas within the corporation as to proper configuration and data management principles and best practices; Ensure those principles and practices are adhered to;
Participate in system and process developments and improvements of the overall EC process without compromising its integrity.
Bachelor?s degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills,talents and additional experience
Strong working knowledge of MRP requirements and the impact to documentation;
Must have FAA (or similar regulatory) agency approvals experience;
Certification in CMII and/or Agile PLM experience and administration is required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
Strong teamwork skills and ability to effectively multi-task;
Must have the ability to be flexible, yet not compromise the integrity of corporate processes;
Problem solving skills to include process improvement ideas;
Must understand documentation and product development needs, as well as incorporate and enforce processes/procedures;
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
