Primary Characteristics
The Change Control and Reporting Analyst provides efficient and effective support of financial systems Standard Reporting and Change Control policies and procedures for Accounting and Finance.
Essential Functions
? Creates, maintains and supports Standard Reporting for Accounting and Finance using multiple reporting tools such as IBM TM1, IBM Cognos, Oracle Financials, Oracle Discoverer and Oracle ADI.
? Acts as a Subject Matter Expert and provides customized, ad-hoc, and Standard Reporting as requested.
? Performs production functions inclusive of but not limited to the generation, version control, and publication of Standard Reports.
? Meets Standard Reporting and Change Control implementation schedules and time constraints.
? Identifies and communicates opportunities and provides continuous process improvement to the Standard Reporting and Change Management processes.
? Provides maintenance and support of Accounting and Finance shared Intranet site on Microsoft SharePoint.
? Assures the integrity and reliability of reporting information systems.
? Involved in all functions related to the Standard Reporting and Change Control processes.
? Creates, maintains and supports systems used to collect and document Change Control requests.
? Provides support to internal and external auditors.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
? Strong reporting skills with experience of report design across multiple systems.
? Strong understanding of financial systems and data structures.
? Strong organizational and problem-solving/root cause skills.
? Ability to quickly learn new applications and reporting languages.
? Excellent communication skills, ability to interact at all levels.
? Must be analytical and detailed oriented.
? Sound understanding of accounting and finance concepts.
Training and Experience
? 5+ years related work experience.
? Prior financial institution reporting and change control experience required.
? Bachelor?s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related business area.
? Experience with financial general ledger systems and related reporting and automated data interface tools required.
? Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, SharePoint, Project and Visio).
? Experience with OLAP (TM1/Hyperion), required.
