Job Summary:
The Change Control Specialist will join a highly-focused global team responsible for delivering managed services in support of our Fortune 100 financial services client?s mission critical application environment. Working alongside a very strong technical team, the Specialist will lead successful, quality, compliant delivery of change activities and communications. The Specialist will maintain and execute existing plans, as well as drive change management process improvements, for multiple projects at one time.
Responsibilities:
Define, improve and enforce change management procedures and standards toward continuous improvements in efficiency.
Ensure that change management objectives are defined, reported on and improved.
Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure consistent, cascading messaging at the project level.
Develop successful relationship as change consultant with key project team members in order to ensure project success.
Proactively identify risks and work with team leads, project managers and leadership to mitigate those risks.
Develop, track and report on metrics regarding the change management process.
Lead change impact assessment.
Support training logistics.
Conduct client needs analysis and provide coaching regarding change management approaches.
Develop presentations to improve client knowledge.
Monitor team effectiveness and provide leadership and coaching as required to improve efficiencies.
Facilitate post-implementation end-user adoption evaluation and data collection.
Qualifications:
BS technical degree or equivalent.
5+ years relevant experience in change management.
Proficient knowledge of change management and project management best practices.
Demonstrated ability to proactively drive optimization of change management processes.
Ability to work on multiple projects of a complex nature in a self-directed capacity.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, work independently and exercise good judgment on time-critical projects.
Excellent oral and written communications skills as well as analytical, negotiation and organization skills.
Excellent partnering skills as well as the ability to effectively communicate with remote peers in various time zones.
Strong client-facing customer service skills.
Proactive sense of urgency in resolving problems and preventing recurrence.
Availability to work nights and weekends when necessary.
Desired Experience:
Experience with implementing change management best practices based on ITIL, Six Sigma or COBIT.
Experience with 24/7 follow-the-sun support models.
Support of high-value customers in the financial services industry.
