ABOUT THE POSITION
The Channel Account Coordinator is dedicated to supporting the efforts of the Channel organization and ensuring Channel Partner success. This role is essential for maximizing efficiency of the field-based Channel Partner Managers and Channel Sales Managers, while also providing programmatic operating efficiencies for our partners. This role will report directly to the Director of Global Channel Programs and Enablement.
The goal of this position is two-pronged: to ensure that partners and their clients are successful and continue to find value in our software and services and to increase operational efficiency and clarity of internal processes. Account Coordinators will operate both externally as a resource to key partners, and behind the scenes with teams internally to ensure quick assist with partner and client issues and to focus on overall success of the team.
Account Coordinators will work in tandem with the Channel Partner Managers and Channel Sales Managers to gain their trust in order to proactively, programmatically, and collaboratively to enable the partners to reach new levels of performance. They also work with the entire Channel Team and cross-departmental contacts to constantly update and streamline processes and training that will influence the effectiveness of the team and satisfaction of the Partners.
?Collaborate with the Channel Team and assist with assigned partners as the second point of contact.
?Strategize weekly with the team and discuss partner usage, options, issues, renewals, and upsells.
?Produce and track issue / action logs for all assigned partners and report as required.
?Serve as back up while Channel Sales and Partner Managers are traveling or out of the office
?Execute internal projects as necessary to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
?Liaison for team with Legal, Support and Marketing as required to escalate and follow up on items.
?Create and update renewal reports, proactively, and discuss upcoming renewals with Channel Team.
?Help drive all aspects of the sales cycle including, proposals, scoping, pricing and contract negotiations, etc. related to low dollar renewal and up-sell opportunities
?Create product and service orders, contract addendums and renewals, obtaining necessary customer signatures, and communicating with accounting and legal department as needed.
?Review over/under utilization reports for up-sell opportunities (over utilization) and clients that require immediate follow-up (underutilization).
?Monitor credit holds and coordinate collection efforts with Accounts Receivable.
?Monitor assignment and fulfillment of services engagements for assigned partners.
?Participate in conference calls, assemble meeting notes and track follow up items as needed
Requirements?4 year college degree plus minimum of two years relevant business experience
?Marketing, sales, project management experience preferred
?Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Access, & PowerPoint
?Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills ? both verbal and written
?Ability to prioritize and work autonomously
?Demonstrated ability to deal with change and be a team player
?Knowledge of ExactTarget platform, products, and services, are a plus
?Secondary language preferred but not required
